The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Community Benefit Fund runs two of the oldest and largest street fairs in New York City, the 2nd and 3rd Avenue Community Benefit Festivals.

The profits from these large events are deposited into the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce’s Community Benefit Fund. Grant applications are sent out to the district’s non-profit agencies, who then apply for funding from the CBF for programs directly affecting the Community Board 8 community.

The mission of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce Community Benefit Fund (CBF) (501c3 affiliate of MCC) is to support a wide range of nonprofit programs throughout Manhattan, encouraging volunteerism and garnering visibility and financial support for nonprofits seeking to improve the health, welfare, social and cultural lives of all New Yorkers.

Reach one million people by renting a booth at the street fairs. The 2nd Avenue Street Fair is in June and the 3rd Avenue Street Fair is in September of each year. Discounts on booth fees are $25 per booth for MCC members. Contact the Manhattan Chamber office for full details.
